Recipe: Afternoon Delight

Afternoon delightWe all struggle sometimes with the afternoon dip in energy and crave something sugary to keep us going. The good news is that our treats don’t have to contain sugar to sustain us. My easy to make Afternoon Delight is sugar free and will keep your energy levels up and keep you feeling full for hours.

 Ingredients

1/2 cup Almond meal or linseed meal

1/2 cup cacao powder

1/2 cup coconut oil

4 tablespoons coconut chocolate butter

50 g coconut butter at room temperature

2 tablespoons chia seeds

2 tablespoons water to mix

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add water until a thick consistency is achieved.

Either using hands roll them into balls or place mixture into small truffle cases.

Place in fridge to set for one hour to two hours.
