Outline of course
Pilates For Real Bodies Teacher Training is aimed at any body shape. It is about enhancing everyday activities from bending down to pick something up or for training for a specific activity. Pilates for real bodies will transform the way the body feels and moves.
It will help to build strength from the inside out, strengthen the core muscles, and lengthen the spine and increase body awareness and flexibility.
The course is made up of fifty contact hours. Twenty self mastery hours and four assignments in total to be completed.
The 20 self mastery x hours could include 6x hours of participating in other Pilates classes. Self mastery includes setting time aside to practice the repertoire learnt during the course by self or with another student from the course.
Students are expected to complete 20x hours by the end of the course if not 6x weeks following the course. Students are required to purchase 2x anatomy text books.
100% attendance and completion of all of the above is required to obtain certification. 80% pass mark is required to be eligible for certification.

- Cueing –verbal, tactile, imagery and visual
- Class sequencing and design for one on one and groups Pilates training for instructors and clients
